Climbing Mount Takao
Hiking up a gorgeous mountain covered in forest sounded like a good idea to me. Excited! Heading into the mountains by train! Climbing Mount Takao Shrines are everywhere on this mountain. They exist in the very high energy areas. Shinto shrine by a waterfall. My hands were buzzing with high energy here, Aki had to drag me away. Suspension bridge crossing through canopy Climbing a steep creek bed View from the summit View of Mt Fuji The hike through beautiful forest was rewarded by gorgeous views, good food and sore legs!
Traditional living in Japan
Japan is a country with an incredibly rich and spiritual history, beautiful gardens and awesome architecture. Aki helped me to immerse myself in old school Japanese culture and spiritualism. The energy in these places is amazing, I spent as much time as I could in the old gardens, soaking in the serenity and admiring the genius it must have taken to create these place. Kimonos - real ones provided by city of Tokyo, arranged by Aki Gardens with Koi ponds swarming with massive ornamental fish Kabuki - traditional entertainment Traditional buildings merge with nature Old school cabinet making Aki looking beautiful Traditional Uber Japanese tea ceremony Buddhist temple Thank you ladies for dressing us in these amazing kimonos, and thank you city of Tokyo for providing them! These are experiences I wll take with me to the grave. Don't really have words to descibe how...
